It is encouraged that you visit one or two blogs to get your day started. I decided to visit IoT For All, being one of my favorite blog when it comes to Internet of Things (IoT). I was not disappointed that I did and chose to share this specific post with my blog readers.

Just a little summary: We all know that social media is naturally driven by the number of users who makes daily usage of it. Now, looking back at the early days of Myspace and Facebook’s initial launch, and comparing it today, you will notice that a lot has changed.

As augmented and virtual reality gets more popular each passing day, it is obvious it will have influence on the social media networks, and also be used to bring innovations thereby helping them to maintain their popularity.

There is a silent war literally! going on (though visible to us all) between the social media giants for who will dominate in augmented reality (AR) / virtual reality (VR) platform. So who will it be? Facebook, Youtube, Pinterest, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, or even Wechat?

Go to IoT For All to get the full story of what i just summarized.

Have you ever tried explaining to somebody what augmented reality means but couldn't? Read: How to explain augmented reality without getting it all mixed up
